As Managing Partner and Co-founder at Builders Trust Capital, Peter is responsible for leadership in investor relations, capital markets, sales, finance, and accounting. As a 15-year veteran in the financial services industry, Peter has a deep understanding of investor and borrower needs that enables him to link sophisticated sources of capital with appropriate borrower and collateral profiles.
As real estate investors, he and Anthony Susco completed 40 “fix and flips” before founding the company in 2016. His extensive hands-on experience in construction and renovation helps Builders Trust Capital better assess the attractiveness of construction projects, contractors, borrowers, and neighborhoods as the company responsibly grows its lending portfolio.
Prior to Builders Trust Capital, he worked about ten years in Treasury Management at Leucadia National Corporation, now Jefferies Financial Group. Before joining Leucadia, Peter worked for Lehman Brothers in the Asset and Liability Management Group.
Peter earned an MBA in Real Estate and Corporate Finance, with honors, from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He graduated with highest distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Finance and an Economics minor. He resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their twin daughters.
